THREE VISTA HOST ALL SUITES HOTELS WIN SEVEN HILTON AWARDS

Brand-Leading Performance, Service and Growth Recognized

HOUSTON — Three top-performing hotels managed by Vista Host have won seven prestigious awards at the recent Hilton All Suites leadership conference.

“These greatly valued awards recognize the emphasis our entire team places on taking care of our Guests in a way that makes a difference,” said Vista Host COO, Joe Viglietta.  “To be honored in this way by Hilton clearly demonstrates why travelers choose our properties, and confirms that our tremendously talented and appreciated team members are committed to our vocation to be better today than we were yesterday — and it is this rallying cry that results in happier Guests and great performance.”

The award-winning properties include two Austin, Texas hotels, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Austin Tech Ridge Parmer and the Home2 Suites by Hilton Austin Round Rock, and the Alabama-based Home2 Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Downtown University Boulevard.

Each of these three Vista Host hotels were awarded the “Connie Pride Award of Excellence” honor, named after Hilton’s founder Conrad, or “Connie,” Hilton. The award is presented to the top-performing hotels within each brand to recognize well-rounded performance and outstanding service. The Connie honors, like all of Hilton’s performance-based All Suites Brand Awards, are calculated based on metrics demonstrating ongoing excellence over a 12-month period.

In addition to winning three Connie Pride awards, two of the aforementioned Vista Host properties each won the following honors:

• Home2 Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Downtown University Boulevard was recognized with the top award in the Extended Stay Most Improved category for the greatest increase in extended stay percentage year over year. This property also received a Balanced Scorecard Most Improved Merit award.

• Homewood Suites by Hilton Austin Tech Ridge Parmer was recognized with two Revenue Awards, the RevPas (Revenues Per Available Suite) Highest Growth Index Merit honor, and the Excellence in Revenue Management Merit recognition.

Merit award winners are among the top five hotels in each Hilton brand based on metrics pertaining to these revenue categories.

The Hilton organization presented these awards during the first-ever three-brand All Suites leadership conference in New Orleans in January.
